WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

This workshop hopes to create a playful exciting environment for sketchers to innovate and sketch with unconventional tools such as a plastic card and even our own fingers. These tools have so much potential to help us explore, do side-ways thinking and increase confidence when we sketch dangerously with no fear. This will also be a session to uncover the potential of turning happy mistakes into opportunities.

The workshop will move from big broad directional marks to bold brush strokes and finally finish with playful line work for clarity. Ready to be surprised by all the happy messy marks?

LEARNING GOALS
1) Sketching as Fun Spontaneous Play-making.
2) Injecting visual movement through the use of expressive marks and lines.
3) Use unconventional tools (Plastic credit card) to innovate and create new ideas.
4) Develop confidence with playful lines and brush strokes
5) Turning happy ‘mistakes’ into opportunities!
