About Paul Wang

His passion for the arts blossomed from a very young age and he went on to study Interior Architecture and Technical Theatre Design with support from National Arts Council. With his multi-disciplinary and multi-sensory training, his sketches and paintings are always bursting with dramatic colours, just like a stage set. As an extension of this creative process, he teaches actively as an art and design educator here in Singapore and abroad.
Urban Sketching is now his unique way of encapsulating the urban landscape on paper and using sketches to tell stories. Many of his on-location sketches have been featured in local and international publications like the Moleskine Art Journal series and most recently the National Geographic Traveller magazine.
He is also an active Urbansketchers’ blog correspondent and an advisory board member.
